Its been way tooooo long!

I cant believe I havent blogged since August! Good grief, someone should have closed this account, I am not worthy!..lol.. Not much happening in my neck of the scrap woods. Just trying to scrapbook as much as I can during my free time.

Be on the lookout for a new blog!! I have been playing around with scrapbook page sketches for some time now, and honestly, what good are they if I dont share!??? I will be sure to post a link once I have it up and running.

In the meantime, my youngest sister is always nagging at me to see new layouts, so here are a few I have put together.

Tryin' Freestyle!

I took a challenge to try my hand at freestyle layouts! I LOVED it! Alot of fun, not worrying about straight lines and perfectly matching colors! Give it a try, you too may like it!

It's Good to Know!

That in this world, there are still some kind people. Those who take the time to say a nice word, for no other reason but to be kind! I received a beautiful facebook message today from a lady who I havent heard from in some time. It was very thoughtful of her to take the time to drop me a line. In a celebration of kindness, I thought I would share a couple layouts of me and my bestest friend, Kim. I love spending time with her, and I know that we have a true friendship that I will always treasure.

I was lucky my sister had the camera! This is a shot of me and my niece Olivia, enjoying some family time last weekend. So cute! Hopefully, I will get at this layout soon!

Photo Turned Layout!

After thumbing through that BHG mag. I decided to flat out "lift" a layout in there! (designer is Heather Melzer.)... I snagged her digital layout, and flipped it into paper! I am pretty happy with the result.. whatchya think?

Lovin' This!

I grabbed a copy of BHGscrapbooksetc. digital scrapbooking today, and got some great ideas for altering photos. Although I am a 100% paper scrapper, I LOVE this book! I monkeyed with this photo and I LOVE the results.
